Multiplayer game · Table for the crew
Friday Poker Club
A browser Hold’em table for a private crew: nine seats, blinds and buy-ins, six mini games, party games, and a chip tracker for real-card nights.
No place to book. Just bring the crew back.
What is on the table
Texas Hold’em in cash-game form: up to nine seats, blinds at 2/4/10/20, a $50 minimum buy-in, all-in and side pots, an optional nine-second action clock, and practice bots when the table is short.
Six mini games sit next to it — 8/9, Niu Niu, Chinese Poker, Blackjack, Penney’s Game with its own leaderboard, and Wheel of Changes — plus four party games that need no buy-in, and a Visual Chip mode that tracks stacks, bets, pot and settlement while you deal physical cards.
How joining works
Open a room, send the invite link, buy in and sit down. Guest entry works without an account; signing in with Google keeps chips, avatar and record across devices. While a table is active it is also listed in the shared lobby and there is no room password, so the invite link is the convenient way in, not a lock on the door.
Seats and stacks persist, so a dropped player reopens the link and returns to the same seat instead of restarting the night. Tables with nobody active clear themselves after ten minutes.
Built for a crew, not a casino
Chips are play chips: no cash value, no deposit, no withdrawal, no purchases, and free unlimited top-ups. The Player Record keeps lifetime buy-ins, the day’s result and a session history filtered by table type, so the group has something to argue about.
Table state syncs directly between the players’ browsers, which is fast and free but readable by a determined player, so the table is built for people who already trust each other. In-table chat and optional peer-to-peer voice, report and block, nickname and chat filtering, in-app account deletion and a public legal page cover the rest.
Where it runs
A mobile-first browser table at poker.eden-tan.com, installable as a PWA, in Chinese and English. React and TypeScript on the front, Firebase Realtime Database for seats, actions and reconnects, WebRTC for table voice.
