Soccerking Social Content Project

A social content and marketing operations case note from Eden Tan’s archive, covering brand strategy, Facebook insights, and campaign execution.

Match days are noisy; the real fight is the few hours after the final whistle.

What was actually broken

Soccerking was a football page run daily during the Black Sire chapter, roughly 2018 to 2021. Match days produced noise, and the page needed a way to catch attention while it was still warm rather than posting whatever came first.

Three post types, three jobs

Link posts carried traffic and highlights. Photo posts collected reactions and comments. Album posts were forwardable explainers built for saves and reshares. Naming the job before naming the creative kept briefs shorter and reviews less emotional.

Cadence, templates, and what we watched

A match-led cadence with templates shortened the gap from full time to publish. Facebook Page insights were read for reach against depth, not a single vanity metric, and paid or campaign loops (likes, shares, tags, landing experiments) were treated as acceleration on top of the organic jobs. Six archived images from the page are shown on the route.
